Springhill hasn’t updated their webpage with an opening date, so we have to assume the hill will be closed tomorrow. So the training that was scheduled for Dec 14th will have to be cancelled. The final MMSC race of the season was held at Asessippi Ski Resort under a brillant blue sky and a temperature that reached a sweltering +5 degrees. The weather is just a little too wild out there for us. Nobody wants to be sitting on the chairlift with the winds gusting up to 80 km/h. We’ll have Race #3 another time. See you on Wednesday night. There is a conflict at Springhill that day. Summit is having a race that day so we won’t be able to train. See you on Sun Feb 7 at Springhill for Race #3. The training on Saturday and Race #3 on Sunday have been moved to Springhill this weekend. Note the times, 1 pm to 4 pm. You can come out and ski earlier, but there won’t be any gates out for us. |
