Here is an update of recent and upcoming events
Springhill
Springhill is looking really good. We have had a couple of really good training events in mild weather. Race 1 is planned for January 31. Ready set go!
Asessippi
We had a really fun weekend last weekend at Asessippi, again in really mild conditions. Our team wowed the locals with our blue jackets and powder eight turns. Kim wowed them with her speed and precision turns. We had 9 members and 2 loyal fans in attendance.
Kenora
Our next day outing is planned for February 10 at Evergreen in Kenora. If you haven’t been to Evergreen before please join us. It is a very nice little hill with great hospitality.
Asessippi – GS event
Joel Remis is coordinating our annual March trip to Asessippi planned for March 10-11. The plan is to conduct our usual GS training Saturday and race on Sunday. Please update your availability on team snap so we can confirm attendance to finalize hotel reservations by mid February. If your attending please let Joel know your preferences for rooms and roommates. We will ask for a deposit as we get closer to the event.
Thanks to everyone for your enthusiasm and engagement in helping with activities. It is appreciated and makes it fun for everyone. Happy skiing and lets hope for the continued decent temperatures.
