Welcome back to another season of Manitoba Masters racing. The schedule has been updated with this years events and dates. With the lack of snow and cold temperatures that we’ve experienced this fall, the first couple events at Springhill may not happen due to lack of snow. Bib Night will be Wednesday Nov 16th at Santa Lucia Pizza, 4 St. Mary’s road. Same place as last year. Hope to see you there! Two new events have been added to the calendar. Glenn Allen wants to bash some gates with us, so we’ve scheduled a training session on SaturdayJan 13th at Springhill from 1pm to 4pm. Race #4 will be held on Sat Jan 20th at Springhill from 10 am to 4 pm. This will be a combined . . . → Read More: Two new events. Training Sat Jan 13th and Race #4 Sat Jan 20th. The weather is just a little too wild out there for us. Nobody wants to be sitting on the chairlift with the winds gusting up to 80 km/h. We’ll have Race #3 another time. See you on Wednesday night. There is a conflict at Springhill that day. Summit is having a race that day so we won’t be able to train. See you on Sun Feb 7 at Springhill for Race #3. The training on Saturday and Race #3 on Sunday have been moved to Springhill this weekend. Note the times, 1 pm to 4 pm. You can come out and ski earlier, but there won’t be any gates out for us. When it rains, it pours. Literally tonight. As it is raining out there right now the training scheduled for tonight has been cancelled. See you out at FrostFire on the weekend. Remember to indicate on TeamSnap if you are coming. Please reply to the TeamSnap event notifications to let us know that you will be attending Master’s events. The Saturday events are usually a little sparse, so this helps us determine if there are enough people coming to an event to warrant the coaches being there. You can show up and ski before that if you wish, we won’t be able to setup gates until the afternoon. It’s a might chilly out there, so Training for tonight, Jan 13th, has been cancelled.
